i’m linking up my weekly phone pics with jeannett! i guess i didn't post as much as i planned this week, but i did take a lot of pictures on my phone! happy weekend!

 

spent some time hanging out on the couch with my computer and a movie

one of my morning walks, it was really relaxing. i love it when i start the day out right.

 

i had to make this bunting that i saw on emily's blog. funny story, we went to home depot this week to return a shelf and i told hendra that i was going to run and grab some paint chips. there were a ton of people in the paint dept and i was trying to slyly pick the ones i like and grab a handful. i felt SO GUILTY! i tried to play it cool and when i was walking back to meet my husband, he told me that i had a look of shame like i had stolen the whole store. i thought i was all cool about it, i am not a bad person! i just wanted to make this stupid bunting, that turned out pretty cute! i think next time i will go to a few stores and take a couple each time, not a handful! thanks to people like me, they are going to start charging!

 

 

made this glittered s in a frame for our gallery wall. its quite imperfect, but i like it that way.

 

 we made a trip to ikea this week and played house in all the rooms, it was kind of fun. we really didn't buy much, it was just fun to be silly and have a date with my hubby!

 the evening at the beach, which i just blogged about. it was a perfect day!

 

 

 cookies for my husband, only one of the pans came out right out of three. i don't think i will ever be a baker, which is probably a good thing, cause i eat way too much dough!! (horrible lighting)

this last sunday afternoon we ran down to fashion island to return a couple things and decided to go to the beach after. we almost came home, but were so glad we went. we took our camera, which we are still trying to figure out. hendra has done a lot more research on it, i would rather just snap my fingers and know what i'm doing. i have no patience for figuring it out. but i want to take great pics so we practiced. probably looked like huge dorks, but totally didn't care. i had such a lovely evening with my husband, there is something soothing about the ocean. it was a very calm evening, just what we needed.

i’m linking up my weekly phone pics with jeannett! this is actually about three weeks of phone pics! I'm a little behind. A lot has been going on!

 

a wonderful day spent at the queen bee market, which is definitely one of my favorite places. we bought matching bow ties for mr sitompul and our some day son! there were quite a few other buys that day, i took a ton of pics on our camera, will have to post about it.

 

 

my mom and i spent the most fabulous day at roger's garden and then had a very late lunch at true food ( my new favorite place to eat ). we had such a great time together, it made me really miss her more than i usually do!

 

 

i am really enjoying my flowers this time of year. peonies are my fave at the moment.

 

 

brinkley got to spend a night with us and we so enjoyed him, he is such a character in every way! makes us both really want a dog of our own, but man is he a lot of work!

 

a true man to love! this is a common sight in our home. how did i luck out?! God totally picked this guy for me ( love you honey!)

 

these photos have a cute background but it doesn't show up much, brink was such a character trying to get cozy under our bed!

 

speaking of our bed, i love our pillows, and the other day when i was making it, i just had to take a quick photo. 

 

 

i spent two days and one night in arizona helping my brother move into his new apt! we had a great time and were super thrilled with his new bedding and frame that my dad and matt made out of old barn wood. drache seemed to love it too!

 

running around everywhere in az,  i'm so happy he is so much closer to us, for at least a year.

 

 

my two favorite 5 year olds, they just celebrated their birthday! i'm really missing them this summer!

 

my honey and i on the way to a lunch date. we eat out way too much, but i really enjoy our time together!

Hello to a little time spent with our camera and my patient husband, learning a little about aperture and lighting. I had a lot of fun, and have no clue what I'm really doing. I'm not big on learning the hard way with anything, I would really just like to snap my fingers and be a photographer!

Hello to the most yummy chocolate dipped strawberries. I made a whole bunch for Mr Sitompul after he had a long day at work and we took some to his parents for a father's day gift and super late mother's day! I did buy her a plant, but my wonderful green thumb failed me and it died before I had a chance to deliver it (possibly the worst daugher-in-law move ever!).

Hello to one more day of work this week and then almost a week off. I am so thankful for a week of resting and possibly some art projects. It feels like we have been so busy since the beginning of May. All very fun stuff, but I'm a little worn out.

Hello to a few mornings this week starting off with yoga. For sure this practice has grown on me, I don't believe I will ever be the one in class standing on my head, but it certainly calms me down and focuses my whole self for the rest of my day!

Hello to a clean house, thanks to my very diligent and ever loving husband!

Hello to a new juicing book from costco to help excite us again about our juicer. I need all the help I can get!

Hello to absolutely loving our new bathroom makeover. I can't believe how much a little paint can do for  a room!

Hello to spending my first shift in the ER this week as a float and making it through without crying or screaming. It was horrible, but I did it with a smile! I did send a very intense email to my charge nurse about how I'm going to change our policy about floating. So here is to making a difference at work!

Hello to getting sometime this week to blog! I am really starting to love this and am really excited about Emily's new blog class she is offering! I need to start saving and hope to sign up mid summer!
