I have really enjoyed One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp as well as her blog. She is such an inspiration. Her outlook on life is so amazing. I have started trying to write down at least 10 things that I am thankful for in my worship journal every day. Some days, when I am having a particularly bad day I try to focus on what I am blessed with, and have found that it always usually makes me feel better and more grateful for everyone/thing in my life.

I was thinking today at work about what I was thankful for and have decided to record it on my blog. That way I can look back at it for forever.

1 A job that keeps me humble
2 My husband who gets up with me everyday that I work and makes my lunch/coffee and sometimes goes to Starbucks for a venti to get me through the day.
3 For hot showers
4 That my parents landed safely from their much needed vacation on Maui
5 That I have finally started my blog (long time coming)
6 Inspiration from other amazing bloggers
7 My brother is graduating from vet school next week
8 Fun people to work with, that will share in your bad days and venting
9 God's little children that I take care of and try to always remember that He created them and should take care of them like He would want me too
10 My husband, for all his support this last year

Seriously, isn't he adorable?! I love this man, he takes such good care of me. I am so thankful for him everyday. (This was taken last year in Laguna right after his graduation from Fullerton with his BS)

I'm excited to link up with Jeannett from Life Rearranged for InstaFriday! I love taking pics with my phone and am excited about keeping them in one place now.

Had a really nice walk/jog in the drizzle! Love this weather!

Getting to know our new Hurom juicer and learning what we can use to be healthy and not throw up in the process!

It doesn't look that good, but isn't bad at all.
Date night with Mr Sitompul. We love our new ice cream shop in Redlands, A La Minute!
Finally organized and cleaned the freezer. Don't worry, I went grocery shopping right after I took this photo!
Spent the afternoon at the park with my dear friend Ayme taking photos of her precious kids. Caroline is the easiest to photo right now and so adorable!
A common sight in our living room at night.
Loving my new frother from Ikea, it makes coffee so much more fun to make and drink!
We went to Ikea last week and I bought this tray. Can't seem to get enough of navy blue or stripes lately. When we were walking in I told Ayme that I wasn't going to get anymore pillows or trays bc I have way to many. When we left I had to buy this tray and would have bought 2 yellow pillows, but luckily they were out of stock!

No Clue!

I have seen this right now i am. . . post (meg from whatever posted it today) floating around and since this is my very first blog post I thought I would give it a try! So here it goes.

right now i am.....
watching:   my husband riding his bike on the trainer in our tiny living room. he's trying to get ready for a gran fondo that is coming up very soon.
drinking:  diet coke left over from our late night costco run
wearing:  leggings and sweatshirt, it was a nice drizzly, comfy clothes kind of day
eating:  it's getting really late, so I'm trying not to think about food right now
listening:  mindy gledhill ( I saw her in concert on my birthday last year ) Mr Sitompul got lot's of brownie points for taking me and spending the day being the only man at the Queen Bee Market
avoiding: laundry and putting the dishes away
wishing:  i would have gotten more checked off my to do list today
feeling:  tired, guilty for drinking caffeine so late, proud that i have finally started this blog
missing: my parents (they are in Hawaii this week, which they totally deserve, but I don't get to talk to them the normal 7 times a day!)
thankful:  for my super supportive Mr Sitompul
craving:  chocolate chip cookies that Ayme is making right now.
wondering:  what my brother's graduation is going to be like next weekend
praying:  for understanding, for wisdom, for a more patient state of mind
needing:  to be done with this so I can go to bed (shouldn't have drank so much diet coke!)
thinking:  about what I am getting myself into with this blog
dreaming:  painting our bathroom sometime soon
loving: a quiet clean house
